For e-bike lithium-ion battery packs, many local councils and specialist recycling centres accept these for safe disposal. Never place lithium batteries in recycling bins or general waste — they present a fire risk.

As a distributor, we offer a free battery take-back service. If you wish to return a used battery for recycling, please contact us to arrange collection or discuss drop-off options.

Lithium-ion batteries are classified as dangerous goods (Class 9) and are subject to special shipping regulations. E-bike batteries are shipped according to IATA, IMDG, and ADR transport regulations. This means:
- Batteries cannot be shipped by air freight as standalone items
- E-bikes with batteries attached are shipped by road courier only
- International orders containing batteries may be subject to restrictions — contact us in advance
Battery Safety
- Only charge batteries with the supplied or manufacturer-approved charger
- Do not leave batteries charging unattended for extended periods
- Keep batteries away from extreme heat, moisture, and direct sunlight
- Do not puncture, crush, or disassemble battery packs
- Stop using the battery immediately if it shows signs of swelling, heat, or leaking
